Susan Taylor Geffe (Sue) is the CEO of St. Mary’s Native Corporation. She is Athabascan from interior Alaska. She leads the company’s parent organization and is responsible for the successful operation of SMNC and its family of companies. Sue and her team drive the mission, vision, and values of SMNC for its board of directors and the corporation’s shareholders.

Prior to assuming the role at SMNC and Family of companies, Sue spent much of her career in leadership at an Alaska Native Regional Corporation. In this ANC she acquired capabilities in administrative leadership, land management, shareholder and board relations, finance management, government contracting, and oil and gas services.

A graduate of Kenny Lake High School, Sue earned her Associates Degree from University of Alaska, Anchorage. She went on to do additional coursework for Business Administration through Alaska Pacific University.

Outside of work, she enjoys travel with her spouse, DIY home renovations, silk flower arranging, time spent with her 2 dogs, and any family time that includes her children and grandchildren.
