Scott Hayden is the General Manager of Denali Materials, Inc and SMNC Development, LLC. At Denali Materials he oversees the production of Polymer Modified Asphalt and Asphalt Emulsions. SMNC Development operates commercial and residential properties in St. Mary’s, Alaska. Scott and his team constantly pursue innovative ways to create value for SMNC and its customers.
Prior to assuming his role at SMNC and Family of companies, Scott spent much of his career in scientific research.

Scott graduated from high school in a two-room schoolhouse in rural Alaska, and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks.
He enjoys flying his floatplane, mountain biking, and dragging his kids on adventures that “build character!”
